Norton Antivirus 2003 install not working...

I currently have Norton Antivirus 2002 on my computer. My subscribtion service end at the end of April so I went a bought a copy of Norton Antivirus 2003.

I First Unistalled NAV 2002 using the "add remove programs", I then rebooted and installed NAV 2003, again rebooted. But for some reason my subscription date still says 4/30/02.

Did i do something wrong.

Try uninstalling again. Reboot. And delete the Symantic folder in doc-settings.
When I couldn't install 2003, I just copied the Symantic folder from new computer. It upped the subscription a year.

Well I tried deleting the symantec folder and the same thing happens. I dont understand how it has the same date in it....it is obviously something in the registry that is not being deleted....any ideas????

Thats stange, I just copied the all user Symantic folder and it updated no problem.
