F.O.B means 'free on board', it's the all up cost of the vehicle to the point where it is put on board ship in Japan bound for NZ. Included, are the vehicle purchase cost, auction fee, trans- port & handling within Japan, de-registration and document processing fees and the export agents fee. C&F is same as FOB but with the freight pre-paid.CIF is FOB costs plus marine insurance.

Trolls should beware. I once showed up on a guys front porch on Saturday morning because he didn't send $30 worth of goods. Cost me like $80 to drive to his house and crap, but it was well worth it to see his face when he opened the door.

maybe I shouldn't admit this because it's so embarrasing but I was scammed for $525. Paid for what I assumed to be a used Dell laptop, got a box of junk instead. No lie. All on-line by a troll who should be shot. I was amazed that anyone would do such a thing, but it can happen, buyer beware and make sure they have damn good references before you lay out any large sums of money. Myself, never again will I deal large sums without seeing the item in person ~

That totally bites! If you got some of his personal information (e.g., home address, home phone, etc.), then you should be able to do at least something about it, right? I hope so... Like maybe contact the police in his city/town? Take a drive and lay some smackdown?
