    Ghost Recon

I just received in trade for RTCW, Ghost Recon and I must say I'm very impressed so far. It always happens to me with Rainbow Six games, at first I start out thinking the game is too slow, then too hard, then all of a sudden I'm sucked in and I want to keep playing until I've completed the whole game. Now I just have to find good deals on the two expansion packs... maybe I should have just gone for the game of the year edition? I just completed the mission where a fa-18 has crashed in a field and you need to demo it and save some pow pilots all under the cover of night with night vision turned on.

If you like Ghost Recon you'd probably enjoy the America's Army tournament. Just a couple days left to sign up if you are interested.

I've played AA a little but find it hard to play quick pickup games due to the long times in between respawns. If only I had more time I tell ya!

Yeah, Rexer, GR is very addicting. Mission 2 wasn't too hard but was alot of fun. Mission 3's a bear but I found Mission 1 to be the worst of the first 4. I'm on Mission 4. Maybe I'm getting better but I continually got capped in Map 1 because it was so big and open.

Night vision is a big help - I even use it when visibility is just so-so.

For a real fun time, play on Elite setting with the threat indicator turned off. You end up crawling on your belly alot and missions can be VERY long but it's so much more realistic never knowing where any of the tangos are.

Multiplayer is even more of a blast. I play co-op with a friend and the action's intense and the "tension" is brutal!

I got the Gold Edition at gogamer.com for $34. It includes Desert Seige and Island Thunder - fully patched and ready for online play.

Will have to try AA when GR loosens its grip on my life.

My video "tribute" to Armed Assault.

    That game is very cool.
    Like the interface.
Moving your teams around on the fly as situations present themselves.
Wish Raven Shield would have kept it instead of having to do everything in planning stage.
    Oh well. RS multi rocks.

You can tell ghost recon is still popular because so many people still play it online. And all in all its just a fun game. Excellent outdoor warfare.
