    FF Sig Thread

Ok this is something I want to test out and hopefully clean up some sigs out there.

The idea of this thread is to have a central place where we can put our systems specs so that we can link them in our sig instead of having it take up space.

    So here's what you do:

    1. Reply to this thread and list your systems and any other info you would like (i.e. contact info, words of wisdom etc.).
    2. Once you have made a reply, make sure to copy the URL listed in your browser.
    3. Edit your signature and delete the now redundant information.
    4. Put a link to your sig post using the [ URL=post url] ... [ /url] tags.
    5. Done!

So whenever you update your systems, all you need to do is edit the post you posted your rigs... or create a new post and link that in your sig.

Another way to link your post - Thanks EO!

    [ post=######]My System![/post ]

To get the post id number all you do is once a post has been added place the mouse over the Edit button. Take down the number that appears in the bottom of IE screen. Place that number in place of #######. And it will take you to your post only! I hope I explained that correctly Enjoy.

Make sense? I'll do the first example so you can all see.

    - Jerky.
