A couple of things- how loud is this thing with (4) 120mm fans?

Did you build the enclosure yourself?

And my .02 cents, next time get Chevette heater cores from Auto Zone they are about $21.00 with tax there, might save you some $$$. You do have to chop the inlets off and solder in or JB Weld in barbs but you are skilled should be no problem for you.

Like I said my .02 cents.

I finally put together my system and so far so good. OC wise that is. I'm running my XP 1700+ @ 211x12.5 (~2638mhz) 1.85v (1.8v actual) on a NF7-S v2.0. I believe the temp probe on the Abit board is off so I can't give too accurate results. But it reads 45*c at full load with an ambient temp of I'd say 25*c.

    Here's my work-in-progress setup.

Right now it's in shambles... wires all over the place, radiator not really getting any cool air. I'm inside my PC every day though so I really haven't bothered myself with cleaning it up at the moment, but later today or sometime this weekend I plan on cleaning it all up.

    Kit is an Asetek WaterChill.

    Also, excuse the crappy webcam

    Hey all,

Ive been working on my system now for a few weeks. Seems to be working much better than expected so ill start to tidy things up some what, since these pics have been taken ive done some more work to it, but ill show that another time !! So this is basically a 1700+ jiuhb @ 2,500mhz with 1.85 vcore, with system temps of 32c its idles arround 42 load of about 48-50c. The rad is a Rover 216 heater matrix with 2 120mm fans (110cfm each) on push pull which are both on a fan controller and 7v. So heres the pics.

    Cheers

    Thanks Sparx

I've seen some of your posts though and you have engineering talent :-)

The stuff I used for the edging can be found here

Hey thanks for the link and the comment.

I'm kind of a "necessity Engineer" you might say. Been doing wiring and corrective rewiring of buildings and such for several years so experience due to solving unusual problems has developed some skills. Of course I wire new custom homes as well, which is much easier than dealing with someone elseís errors.

Here in Chicagoland romex wiring is not allowed so a typical home I wire consumes about 2700 to 3000 feet of thinwall conduit. Lots of pipe bending!

Keep up the good work there Frank.
BTW what case is that and how tall is it?
