yeah, this thread is getting kinda dusty so here's some older PC-65 pics (fingerprints and all )

Since these pics I have added another 80mm exhaust (just under the original), put a spacer between the cpu fan and the cpu heatsink, a rheostat for the cpu's loudass Delta, mounted the intake/exhaust case fans on the outside of the case (cept the 92mm blow hole) (intakes are now outside of the case, but still behind the front bezel), lowered the 120mm window fan so it is oriented over the vid card area instead of the cpu/northbridge area, added a SATA RAID card, and re-routed some cables/wiring, which cleaned things up a bit.

Soon will be a digidoc 5 (I like the looks and convenience), 80mm Panaflo M1A/L1A case and power supply fans (p/supply is noisier than it needs to be)

Lastly will be some kinda change for cooling the cpu, vid card...

Hope I didn't bore ya and if so, too bad! cause when I find the cable for my camera, I will be posting pics of the changes of from these pics to now

not boring at all lallend!! it's always good to see a fellow Lian Li case owner show off their stuff.

I like what you've done with the grills in the bottom. One question, do you still use the grill that goes behind the intake holes (the cage thing that holds the wire mesh).

Nope, I haven't used that for a long time, but I am gonna change the front bezel so it has screens instead of holes. Hopefully it will help with a bit of the dust and the noise that happens when the fans are up against the bezel.

That plus I just wanna change the front bezels appearance for the hell of it.

nice setup zephyr666. How do you like the heatpipe on your v card?

I just bought the a 9700pro from someone on here and it comes with the zalman nickel plated heatpipe. Never used them before and wondered what they were like...

not sure to be honest, it gets quite warm and was a pain to fit. both sides get evenly warm as TT says it should so i expect its doing its job. i'm not clocking it, thats why i bought it - so i didn't have to.

took the fan guard off the fitted fan cause it was well noisy.

i like it and it keeps the mousies feet warm

problem is i'm gonna have to do some mods to draw the warm air away from the top of it as it can't be helping case temps. idle is 28c with side off but 34 with it on.

the fan off my old sapphire 9500 on the zalman chipset cooler does its job though. system temp never goes above 29c now - it was hotter than the cpu reading before!

i'd like to know where in the UK i can get those fan guards you've got though, or something similar. and yes i did cut away the grill that holds the filter in place. superglued the edges of the filter to stop it being sucked in.

just wish i coulda afforded a full tower. i love the build quality on this case though.

actually these are what i want, haven't seen any in the uk so its back to good old bart at 1coolpc. i like the ones on the front of yours but i don't want to be a copy cat.

whadya reckon? i think they are different enough and 2 of these would look good on the front.

if you ever need something check out 1coolpc i know i go on about them but they have been excellant. got the vid cooler from them. in fact all the add on heatsinks and fans. because they use USPS and don't use fedex you dont get whacked for import tax after.
