hi. well its time for some real cooling i belive. was thinking of this, top of case a bay cooling device 3 fans blowing about 32 cfm and behind the hard drives at the back two psu fans [ripped them out of dead psu].at the bottem in the front was considaring a 80mm fan blowing in the case [no brand in mind yet]. at the back by the proc i want another 60mm fan blowing out of the case. as well at the back between my agp card and nic card i have a slot fan [42 cfm heheh] sucking the heat away from vidio card[my new nv 20 max oc when they come out lol] this is a closed case situation and i would like some imput . was also thinking of plexi glass for the 1 side of my case just to look pretty .

    Haha, get a supermicro 760A..

    <img src="http://www.supermicro.com/images/Imag_Prod/Others/sc760A_SM.JPG">

It has all the mounts and everything included...

    a whopping 9 fans..

    3. inputs, bottom front of case
1 output top back case above power supply
    1 blowing on the CPU
4 fans around the drive bays.. 2 each side:-)

Of course, gonna cost ya plenty for the fans to put in, then you'll also want a baybus to turn some of them down / off, so it doesn't sound like a jet hanger in your room.

May I suggest a 92mm for the intake instead of the 80mm? Much better airflow, and not that hard to mount, just won't be able to use the cage most cases have. You will probably have to do some cutting but nothing to major. If your case just has room for a 60mm in the back above the processor then grab one of the "black label" Delta 38's, it flows better than some 80's. If your heart is just set on a 80 for the front intake grab a Sunon 44 cfm, it's one of the highest flow 80's I know of right now. Most of my fans came out of old PS's too, I don't know why, but they seem to last longer.

    Cool

If your interested in a plexy panel then look here: http://www.clear-viewtech.com/panels.html

As far as 80mm fans go, the Panasonic Panaflo sold by: http://www.millisec.com moves 47cfm and is the Ultra high performance model. It comes with a three pin connector but DON'T try to use a motherboard fan header with it.

http://www.caseetc.com carries all the Panasonic Panaflow fans from 60mm through 120mm. They have quite models and high performance models and they expect to carry the ultra-high performance models soon.

Be aware, that their fans DO NOT come with connectors, just bare leads. Which make them Ideal if your going to use a BayBus.

They are a very good source for modding supplies!!!!!

    wolven.
thats pretty close to what im doing .although up top i dont have any blowing sideways just across. three in a bay 2 behind hd.right now i have 1 fan blowing on my proc like that case but ill do 2 fans in rear and 1 or 2 fans in front .that way i have very good airflow across the board and prc. if i had to buy a case i would considar that one . but i have spent to much on this case already[175 $canadain including 350 psu].
    tek .
thats a good idea i have to cut holes anyways in front and back and was wondering about back as there is not enough room to mount a 80 mm but may have enough for a 60mm.

well as i was on a very limited budget i purchased 2 80mm sunons and a 42 cfm slot cooler. i put 1 in the front to draw air in and drilled a blow hole in the side of the case to draw air out. the slot cooler is under my vidio card. my temps before i did this with a closed case were 57-59 proc and 45-47 mobo. [thats why i had my case open all this time proc 42-44 mobo 29-32when case was open] well i closed my case with my new fans in place and am happy to say my temps are 46-48proc and 37-39 mobo. still a little hot but next pay ill get a 92 mm sunon and enlarge the blow hole in the side i figure i should get another2-4 degree drop all around with the 92 mm in place. oh its much quieter with the case closed but im thinking of a new power supply as mine is quite noisy my local comp shop has a very quiet one in stock for 55 bucks i couldnt even hear it on so ill probly get it [cant rember name think its atnrg or somthing like it its amd approved at any rate]
