1GB DDR333/400 sticks?

Can anyone tell me where to find 1GB DDR sticks? I've been looking at newegg and they only seem to have 2x512MB sticks.

my buddy wants single sticks of 1GB DDR so he can have eventually 3GB to make rendering in 3d Studio Max even better =)

He's on an ASUS A7V8X-X for now, might move to an NForce2 but might also move to a KT600 so Dual-Channel isn't really important yet...but if I can find him 1GB sticks, then he can just buy those and run them dual-channel when he has two and moves to Nforce2 =)

They cost alot and in order to use a full 3 gigs on some chipsets, you can only use 266 ram

try it, but look at each sellers rating at resellerratings.com, and whatever sticks your buying, research them first, not all ram is the same, as I'm sure you know already.

ya im real picky about my RAM, especially when its going to be in a dual-channel NF2 eventually...

$800 eh...that seems awfully high...

Buffalo has 1G registered DDR333 Samsung chips , I would have to ask if it is in stock? and who knows if it will work with that mobo?
