Oddity when switching to cas 3

Im using some PC3200 Mushkin Black ram, I tried to relax my timings to see if i could relax the timmings and maybe OC a little better ( I get occasinal crashes in games ) and I switched all timings to the highest numbers one at a time, but everything I try to switch my cas to anything higher then 2.0, then when i save the bios I get a wailing siren and have to pull the plug and clear the cmos to get it to boot again. Any Ideas why it works at the tightes timmings but not the loosest.

The NF2 chipset doesn't like cas 3 no matter what brand ram you have though cas 2.5 should work???
