these are timings you can use:
    11322-7322 scores better for me!
    7322- I use this one
    6322
    5322
    4322
    3322

    yo marmaduke,

its running WAY better than those darned geil sticks. incidentally, the guy whom i sold my geil to is now havign problems with it. i mailed him the receipt from newegg so he could RMA it. GEIL = NO NO.

thx for the tips, marmaduke, but arent those timings too tight for cl2.5 ram?

    Ram = Simms(old) Dimms(new)

Simms run on the older 5v bar and Dimms run on the 3v bar......

I have the same question. My RAM according to crucial is 2.5 volt but my boards voltage for the RAM lowest setting is 2.6 volt. Could this be a potential problem?

If a stick of PC3200 can't do 400FSB at 2.7v or less, that is a problem.

are you trying to say 3.3v "rail" of the psu? either way only overclockers run the memory up to 3.0v

acording to JEDEC ddr dims come in 3 varities 2.5v 1.8v and tbd ( reserved? to be determined? ) the kind we use is 2.5v the 3 are keyed diffrently so you cant screw up and install the wrong one in the board

Vdimm is controled by the motherboard's Voltage regulatign unit not the power supply

corsair will warenty ram up to 2.8v (dont think they can tell if you go further) so that is a pretty good indicator that 2.6-2.75should be no problem for any memory

Ratings mean nothing with Buffalo ram!
The PC3200 CH-5 can do CAS2 all the way up till 460Mhz @ default voltage!.

I am not trying to but you catch on quik. Now you know what I am saying is all PSU's r different in their wattage and thats what matters to OCers. You also see I am saying that is why these boards have power controllers ................
