    9600 pro installation question

    After i installed, the 9600 pro, i now have something in my device driver that says,

    9600 Series
    9600 Series (Secondary)

    So, it almost shows 2 video cards. But with my 8500 card, it didn't do that. Is this a problem or does everyone see this in there device manager.

    windows xp
    2000+
    9600 pro
    1 gig ram

    My 9700 pro has the same thing. It is there for the dual monitor function of the card.

    You should have posted something when you didn't see it show up on your 8500. j/p

    My 8500 and my 9500 had the extra display also, and as already stated, it is for dual monitor support.
