Hey guys, I'm not chickening out but if they use translocators I probably wont play. I'll just be worthless.......

No ofense but I think the translocator gives you huge advantage which isnt always based on gaming skils.............

I dont know what maps they want to play but if they are not very big we dont need the translocator at all.

    Later.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience...

now what is the big deal with the xloc??
It is a fun weapon and a transporty device, Unreal Tournament just would not be the same with out it.

like bg said it is a huge advantage, it is way to easy to escape, got chase people around like a dog with it, makes for an annoying game imo....

BG, JR.... If you feel you cannot play with the opposition using the xloc, then that's your decision obviously. However, we'd really like you to play Remember, it's all for fun. Doesn't matter who wins / loses. Who knows, maybe even I can be pursuaded to play a map or 2 against the official SS team. And we all know what that'll do for the FF score

I was thinking it might be like this if they use it a lot. I can see how it could be used to a create a significant advantage especially if they are good as using together as a team. But the big thing for me is that it cuts down on the fun factor quite a bit. I have enough trouble hitting enemies - don't need everyone beaming all over the place to make aiming even more difficult .

But nevertheless I'll give it a try this time to see how it works. At least then I'll know how good/bad it is.

I have played on a server once where xloc was used. Needless to say it was a little frustrating because Scotty kept beaming them away.

Maybe someone can show me how to bind it to a single key so I can just press it and it will change to xloc and beam me away at the same time!
