DFI overclocks much better (if you care for that), DFI has Soundstorm which is great "if" you have a set of digital capable speakers, or have a decoder box. DFI is faster at stock speeds by a bit. The edge to drivers and overall stability I would say goes to Soyo (right now) until nVIda pauts out better drivers for IDE - although you can just revert the IDE part of the drivers to microsoft, and it's stable for the most part. Both have native serial ATA. If you have a case with a window, or dont already have rounded cables, and are getting digital speakers (or have hem now) - I would get the DFI for the increadible soundstorm (digital). Very, very nice package. Soyo is nice too though. Just not as nice pick your flavor.

Sounds like if you're not using the on-board sound and not overclocking to go with the Soyo!

yep. I would, but certainly, the DFI is pure heaven It OC'es like a bat out of he||. And has all the extras you could ever want. So cool that mobo is. But if you dont care about the OC, and you have cables already, and sound card already, and want a really stable board. Soyo sounds good.

Well, since there is very little known about the Soyo KT600 motherboard, I don't think there is really much to compare right now. Every site I check is out of stock for them, shame too, because I want to buy one.

    Later,

I'd get both and stick the DFI in your computer and use the soyo as a doormat

The Soyo KT600 is getting good reviews. It's not quite as fast as the DFI, but you can oc it a little, and from what I hear - it's stable. I might use an PC Chips SIS 740 as a doormat (if it didn't work).
