haven't seen that many on the NF7-S, though I have seen one at 245FSB, which might not impress you but impresses me lol. Not as much as this guy in the OC forums with the LanParty I875 board...he has Adata PC4000 and running 1:1 @ 260FSB. Creepy.

But I think it might also be that the NF7-S maybe has all the things that the 8RDA+ owners were modding to get....?
Actually the 8RDA+ has more, 2.0v VDD adjustment instead of 1.7...

I think if you replace the crappy NB cooling, and give it a little lovin' you can get just as high FSB as any Abit...but where you win with the Epox is that it's cheaper ($77 at Mwave..), and it's absolutely rock solid...something I honestly can't say for any Abit board I've used.

The Soltek wouldn't be such a bad idea if the VCore weren't limited at a paltry 1.85 and if it had mounting holes...

    freakin spammers heh

id like to see the Epox hit 245FSB stable...then i'd say yeah, its as good as the Abit. But until then...I think the Abit it king because its new and has most of the options that you Epox modders had to mod to get lol.

You better stick with me on this one Fr@g...after all the times i stuck up for you and your meat locker bahahahaha

Actually dude, with the new rev 2 8RDA+ and the 8RDA3+, there are no options on the NF7-S that the Epox boards do not have.

In fact it is the other way around, and now Abit users have to mod what the Epox users get stock aside from cooling, but anyone looking to do super high FSB is not going to keep the stock cooler...

I am sure you can do 245fsb on an Epox if you give it a little lovin', same applies to Abit..I have seen Epoxes at 250...same with Abit.

Just my early morning opinion while waiting for the coffee to finish.
Ya wouldn't find any those reviews at fastlanehw.com!

well not really; some good reviews there.

I swear everytime, fr@g posts that..i drool. Very Nice looking.
But how much did you spend ...TOTAL. NiX all "I love modding" crap..How much? when me Xaser II looks equally good for only $120.

Jesus Fr@g..stop comparing a 400fsb board with a non-400 will ya... You had a A3 northbridge on that epox. It did what it was supposed to do.

JFYI...Epox boards were the first to hit 250fsb.
Check out the VR-zone's overclocking database..you'll find more of what i'm talking about. Most of the top amd OCs are of the Epoxian kind.

Yea that's right...me ain't seeing no DFI doing that. they do glow awfully alot though. Strange thing is, I'm yet to see a Xaser owner with one in their case.

    Have a nice night

    I agree...that's like comparing a Palomino 2100+ to a T-Bred 1800+ or something...

well what do you think guys, time to merge this one with "The bar"? it has gotten pretty OT no need for 2 bars in C&C

BBB we really ought to come up with something better for a name, The Bar is kinda already taken
