but there are four different time zones in the US and you guys only ever talk about west east and central

so anyways east coast is five hours behind uk thus...

say 1.30am here- that makes 8.30 east coast and then 5.30 west coast???

As j1m said we'll usually post one or two of the zones and let people in the other zones figure it out.

    EST (eastern) = GMT - 5 (sometimes 6)
    CST (central) = EST - 1
    MST (mountain) = EST - 2
    PST (pacific) = EST - 3

    Concensus........ we wanna play

Since I've not played either, I'm game to go for DC. Seems to be a far more popular game than the original. May I suggest a co-op game for first time out?

DC is a good choice, but things happen a lot faster though. I was thinking that perhaps the origional BF might be easier for the newer players, but htis game is not hard at all to learn the controls.

And, there is a LOT of DL'ing to get the latest DC mod, I think it is approaching 500meg. Not sure who is on dial up, and who is not. But, if you get the DC, you can still play the origional BF too, which is nice.

ahh good kami- i was gonna message you but since ur here i dont have to

is this schedule ok with you for serving??? that is if everyone doesn't change their minds...

edit: - kami thinks, and i basically agree, that the game should be a standard everything game since that way everyone doesn't have to hunt down mods and stuff- this being our first game and all...

Not sure a 5.30 is gonna work for me. Right in the middle of our sacred family time. I'd be willing to get an early start on Sunday if everyone's up for that? Say 7.00am PST, 10.00am EST, 3.00pm BST?
