seventy six dollars for 512mb of Kreton PC3200. I couldn't tell by their website what chips they are using. However, they also have a seperate line selling elixir/nanya modules. Should be interesting.

I didn't say they were bad. Nanya is really good stuff when you get good modules. I thought it would be interesting if the Kreton "value" line simply used Nanya on their modules. Expensive chips, BTW, that's why I'm skeptical to think they did. Samsung chips are probably all the more likely.

I would say the ones that aren't the "blitz" model number are going to be the value line, and not Premium Plus. The blitz modules look enticing.

    See for yourself:

The popular chip of the day, I guess, so what do the other modules use? Seems to make more sense now that nanya reamains only with elixir modules.

by this it would seem there isn't a definate chip that they use, just whatever is more available/price performance ratio at the time for their "premium plus". Which doesn't say alot for the "value" modules, but who knows. They don't like to specify too much what chips they are using for some reason.

At this point, I see some Samsung PC3200 By Buffalo Technology at newegg. Not gonna get good overclocking chips for a decent price. It all comes out expensive if it's the good stuff. I do hate to recommend generic stuff for Nforce2s though. I would hate someone to buy some PC3200 rated at 6ns.
