    Question about DDR333

    Going from 1700+ Palomino to a 2600+ T-Bred (333 MHz FSB)

Whats some good ram to use for this? I dont really overclock, but I do want the option open. And if i do overclock...i wanna do it hardcore, lol. Thats just how I am, so....whats some ram where it will work great with default CPU FSB...and great when i crank it for some OC'ng? I do plan on expirimenting when I et my new chip.

Corsair is always a good bet. I have a stick of their XMS2700 that used to sit on an 8K3A+, where it worked quite well. Hmm, perhaps I should assemble a third PC? Only needs a gfx card and a HDD...

I'd go with TwinMos PC3700 - that way your rig will be limited by something other than the ram. I'm running FSB 216 at 2-2-3-7 sync, using 2.8V for the TwinMos sticks, and either the cpu or the mobo is the limiting factor for the FSB, not the ram. Whatever you do, get at least PC3500 CAS 2.
