The results are a little lower than they could be but within a normal range. Other members may have some suggestions for you on how to improve it, like trying other stripe/cluster combinations and/or drivers.

With the general thought that RAID-0 doubles performance in mind, the array is performing about where I'd expect it to. I recommend trying different RAID drivers to see if an improvement can be had.

    Grinch,
Are you using a raid pci card or onboard raid? I've got two WD hard drives but have never gotten scores as good as yours.
    AND Phenom X3 8650
    Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H mobo
    Sapphire HD3870 vid card
    2 GB PC 6400 DDR2
    74GB Raptor
    320 Seagate SATA HDD

Forgot to ask if you have the OS on the two WD. A score of 95MB/sec seems very high if the OS is on there.

I have a Silicon Image pci card but am not using it currently because it kept causing corruption. The George Breese thread gives me hope for using it again real soon depending on what he replies to my email. I don't understand what you mean by latency timer. Are you refering to memory latency in the bios? I've got my ram's CAS set to 2 if that's what you're asking.
