I installed them and evertything seemed OK until I tried to start Diablo II from CD, the system locked and the HD light stayed on until I reset.
I restored the system and everything is fine again.

Installed last night and ran benches all seems well, good hd performance, cdr and cdrw recognized and able to burn cds. I haven't run into any problems will games but really haven't had time to play much 3d 2001 and 2003 both run with no problems. BE SURE AND REMOVE YOUR OLD DRIVERS FIRST, the only folks who seem to be having problems are those who did installs over the top of old drivers.
By the way the over clock utility works fine on my system. Just like all the others not all functions are available it will take a bios update from the mb manufacturers to be able to use them all

This guinea pig survived! Installed drivers, including the NV IDE driver, last night over the old ones (oops?) but everything worked fine on the reboot, Half Life and C&C Generals ran fine.

I also tried out the NV System Utility, like lessell, but I can't change many settings on my board (RAM timings mainly).

Sounds promising so far. My guinea pig days are over. I'm gonna hold off on the update till there is more input. Its the IDEs that still concern me.
For those of you that did try the 3.13s did you extract to a folder, delete the unwanted stuff then run the innstall proggy?

Agreed, I am running the 2.45 drivers and they are working just fine. HDTach v2.70 shows I get 36.1mbs avg. / 123mbs burst speed. I think it comes down to what HDD you have, just as much as the IDE driver.

i have been doing all sorts of testing and still no problems. i don't think the SW IDE drivers do a whole lot for HDD proformance but they do have lower cpu usage. cpu temps are down 3C just mucking in windows and confirmed with aida32 HDD benchmark. windows takes far less time to load. also Sandra and Aida32 mem bandwidth scores are up slightly too.
