Multiplay UK Lan Event

Hi guys

apologies if this kind of post is not allowed on the forums, in which case moderators please delete, it is purely just to inform people who may not know about it.


i-series as they are known are for people who enjoy playing games online like Counter Strike, Savage, TFC, Quake, Battlefield 1942.. and any multiplayer game you can think of.

These events also have a 100mb internet connection so you can browse the web, run messaging systems, be on IRC, view email and even play games to game servers external of the building as you would normally do at home.

However its not hard to find a decent game of anything at the event anyway as there are regularly about 1000 people attending these LAN events.

If you are not sure about whether or not to bring your PC along to the event to play games with like minded people on supurb servers then come as a spectator and see if you would want to attend a future event, either way its a lot of fun.

I have to agree the i-series is great. I went to I-17 in the summer, it was my first LAN so i didnt know what to expect but it was great. The event lasted 4 days the first day was a bit laggy because of the blaster virus but they had technicians come around every computer to check and fix them. They had thousands of games to play, the only let down of the event was the service of Dominos pizzas. Overall it was great

yes dominos was a bit poo, but at least they do deliver to your seat, but on the same token, we are pushing Multiplay to get someone else in because Dominos are now taking a "sample" shall we say
