Graphics are not what makes a game....

This is gonna take everything that makes UT2k3 one of the most fun MP games and make it better...i can't think of a better game coming out in the next couple months. (yes that includes HL2)

You are probably correct there , but honestly, what is so special in that trailer? Graphics certainly aren't (and I don't mean because of the video resolution or anything like that) and character/vehicle animation looks far from perfect...

The graphics might not be on top anymore (afterall, it's not the newest engine out there anymore) but they were certainly no slouch either.
Above all, it just looks fun and isn't that really why we play?

Someone who gets the point of gaming. As fun as UT2003 was, the developers got away from what made the first one a MP classic. With UT2004, they reinstated the Assault game mode, weapon lockers replace interspersed weapon locations, there's a greater focus on accomplishing objectives (which results in a concentration of intense firefights around specific locales), among many other changes. I think there is enough new content to appease both the old schoolers and the upstarts.

i spent SOOO much time on the original UT ....... man that game was FUN

Like everoyne has already stated ... graphics may not be THE best but its fun factor that gets me ... i mean i still play TRIBES 1 FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ..... but its soo much fun to kill some noob who doesn't know how to ski yet
