If not overclocking, what brand of ram?

Building a vanilla Barton 2500+ rig for my brother. No frills, no OC. Probably an MSI K7N2 Delta-L MB. Does RAM brand matter much? Should he go with something cheap or pay for Corsair or what? Just something that's speedy and lasts a long time is all he needs.

With no OC'ing, I'd say just look for RAM that's rated at 2 for CAS Latency to get the best performance. I'd not worry about the brand, just as long as it's "known".
