    Farm subsidies

    http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont....66dcb274.html

The entire corn/ethanol deal has become a far more serious problem than I ever imagined.
Weve created a monster. Basically made corn valuable by an increased demand
that cannot be satisfied by "normal" supply. What a freaking mess that is now spilling over to everything
    associated.
Any "no grow" farm subsidies should be the first to get the axe.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- An unexplained image in a hospital prayer garden window moved some people to tears and drew groups of people to a hallway before vanishing, according to witnesses.

This is getting comical.. after years of the MSM doing the "beat the drum slowly" bit on the "damage" GWB has done to our reputation in the "world". And all the Dimorat candidates pimping how they are going to "repair" said relations.. major European countries are electing pro-US leaders. First France.. now Italy.. Odd that they'd be electing openly pro-US Prime Minister's when we're continually told Europe hates us dontyathink??

We need to get Clara Peller in here... As with most agendas driven by the far left and MSM.. there seems to be less substance than their rhetoric merits.

    "Wheres the damage??"

Far Left Routed in Italy!!! Communists Wiped Out!

Another staunch Pro-American leader is elected to office in Europe!

Meanwhile the Democrats and candidates have pissed off more people in two weeks than Carter has pills.
    Piss off Columbians
    Piss off Canada
    Piss off Israel
    Piss off rural voters

Berlusconi is a corrupt slimeball. If I were Republican I wouldn't be cheering at his re-election.

So... if we "mind(ed) our own ******* business, those families would not get their $112 billion in subsidies... right? I'm for cutting waste, but I'm sure SOME of that money is going to deserving victims... don't you think?

Hey, if McCain pushes through a bill waiving the 24 cent/gallon diesel tax, that would be huge... that's cutting the cost of transport a nickle a mile or so! Every trucker in the country would become a McCainiac overnight 'nStuff.

Yeah, it sucks hardcore that your son killed himself. But, it's not the college's job to take care of your kids. That's your job and their own job. So your kid is suicidal? Do something about it, don't wait on someone else to.

I agree. I just dont get this movement that demands "they" [whomever they is] solve basic stuff.
Its getting more and more obvious that a large part
of the population has long forgotten any sense of self sufficiency/responsibility.
