I still dont know what to do about these nuts but repeat my advice: Leave the family alone. If you have snakes or lizards in your head? Jump off a bridge. Shoot yourself.
But leave the family out of your diseased plans.

I think it's a load of crap - look at where the article came from.

Can something along those lines be done? Yes. On the scale of beiing able to shut down US fighter aircraft - that's so unlikely is essentially laughable.

That being said, network and cyber spying is a real issue. Espionage is a real threat, has been for a long time and will always be a threat to US intersts.

US Trade across the world is divided into two categories:

ITAR for defense related products and
    EAR for commercial.

Our trade with China is only commercial and China is one of the 5 countries that are strictly prohibitted under ITAR rules.

The only way the Chinese could slip something into our aircraft is if a contractor illegally outsourced the component or it was introduced by espionage. Because we still fabricate our own chips and a forgery is as easy to spot to the trained eye as a 3 dollar bill- I doubt it. That a contractor would risk severe punishment + penalties including imprisonment- I doubt that too.

So basically- I'm with SteveW on this- I don't think so

"We say in our platform that we believe that the right to coin money and issue money is a function of government....

Those who are opposed to this proposition tell us that the issue of paper money is a function of the bank and that the government ought to go out of the banking business. I stand with Jefferson rather than with them, and tell them, as he did, that the issue of money is a function of the government and that the banks should go out of the governing business."

Why I asked. Struck me as being too full of "could possibly" statements....
    and no proof whatsoever.
So I wonder why articles are written like that.
Is it to gin up problems with China or demean the measures we have in place.

Hits me as a case of a teacher wanting to be "friends" with students and win some imagined popularity contest.
Guess she knows now...just settle for "teacher"

Reminds me of some knotheaded parents that do the same with kids and their friends. Serving booze etc.

It accomplished both - but it's so poorly written, like a fiction novel, I think is just cheap sensationalism to sell copy.
