Fruit bats regularly engage in oral sex, according to groundbreaking new research published in Science magazine.

The study found that more than two-thirds of female short-nosed fruit bats (Cynopterus sphinx) performed fellatio on their sexual partners, and that they were rewarded with longer bouts of intercourse as a result.
Previously, the only animals known to carry out oral sex – apart from humans – were bonobo chimpanzees.

However, the study, by Libiao Zhang and his team of biologists from Guangdong Entomological Institute in China, found that female bats were enthusiastic fellators, with 70 per cent performing oral sex on their mate during intercourse.
Science magazine reported: “Both sexes groomed each other during courtship. But then came the shocker.

What to the conservatives around here think of Carrie Prejean and her recent "I'm the victim of the liberal media" tour she is going on.

I mean its one thing to claim that there is a bias in liberal media. That probably won't get much debate, though it could be debated. But the crap this chick is spewing is friggin ridiculous....almost Palin-esque "death panel" type of stuff

She claims that if Sean Hannity went on the tube and said things about Sotomayor or M Obama the way that she and Sarah Palin were attacked that they would be off of the air within minutes.

She does realize that Hannity, Limbaugh, etc....basically any conservative commentator with their salt regularly called Sotomayor and M Obama racists and socialists right?

I think she should have called up Dutch and Scooter. They could have given her a few examples of real liberal media bias. Hell she could have just read scooter's thread on MSM bias and could have come up with some better (and true) material to use, instead of stating an out and out lie over and over again.

Anyways, it pleases me to see that yet again we have a hot conservative woman who is as sharp as a doorknob. Just keeps perpetuating the stereotype

I'd agree that she's a victim of media bias, but she brought it on herself. The View and Larry King, etc., don't want to interview someone like Michelle Bachman, who'd put them all under the rug. She's over used her fifteen minutes. That said, I can see Larry King's point of making a show around her, 'cause he's at about the same level as she is. I mean, come on already. We have here a girl who made her fame by being pretty and pro-life but has never been pregnant. That doesn't carry the same weight as say, Sarah Palin proclaiming the same after making a full brood, does it? She may as well be for world peace or saving the planet from asteroids.

She's pretty. If she needs to further her career, I'd suggest she become a centerfold model. Show us the booty!!

Sounds about right to me. Its to the point now where I feel bad for how badly her PR people have shafted her.

I was also just curious to see if any of the conservative blogs were making her the hero of the day for walking off of Larry last night. It helps to keep the sane conservatives and the nutty ones separate because apparently they don't like it when you mistake them for one another

She was in the Miss USA pageant. She was asked a question about her thoughts on same sex marriage to which she replied:

Well I think it's great that Americans are able to choose one way or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And, you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, no offense to anybody out there. This honest answer infuriated a gay little shit called Perez Hilton who didn't like the fact that other people have different opinions on the subject. He then threw a temper tantrum like the little girl he is and posted a video blog calling her a "dumb bitch" and she was evil etc. He also said she lost the crown because of the answer she gave. She agreed on that opinion with Hilton and later went on to sue the Miss USA pageant after her contract was terminated. Oh, and she is HOT!!!!

MoD vessel 'watched yacht hijack'


The crew of a UK military ship watched as a British couple were taken hostage by Somali pirates but were ordered not to open fire, it has emerged.

The RFA Wave Knight did not act for fear of endangering the couple's lives, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said.

Paul and Rachel Chandler, aged 59 and 55, from Kent, were ordered off their yacht by gunmen in the Indian Ocean in the early hours of 23 October.

The Chandlers had been travelling to Tanzania from the Seychelles.

Details of the Navy operation were leaked to the press by an anonymous crew member of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship.
