Well this is too bad...our friend Brian closing up shop. Well always remember him here for his work with that "Rage Boy" deal that gave us some distraction during some tough war years. http://snappedshot.com/turbo/

That is too bad. But he's not alone in his fatigue.

How am I supposed to have any "kinship" with the Libyan people? Sure...I suppose its a good thing to be rid of the dictator but ya know? Not like Libya is penciled in on my vacation planner:

In Benghazi, on the main square where it all started, they were slaughtering camels in celebration. There they sat, eight of them, feet tied so they could not move, quivering with fear as they were beheaded one by one. As soldiers fired rifles in the air, members of the cheering crowd held up the severed heads as trophies. They daubed their hands in the camel-blood, and gave the V-for-victory sign with dripping fingers

Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if American soldiers showed the same brutality the so-called freedom fighters showed when they captured and killed Gaddafi.

The whole worlds far left would be in Threat Con 4 status.

    Just sayin’

    ^^^Yeah...fricken savages.

    Rolleyes Memory Lane today:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a Sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. ...Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here'. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and Grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

You know, I read that and ran a few google searches that reveled theres a lot of cross linking regarding a few or all points made here. The problem I have is I don't see the outrage or even begin to believe the targets here were being racist.

Just a few examples, Touré is black. Mahr said a lot of other things around that picked quote that addressed racism because he had Touré as a guest. He was also clear that it was a content issue that the GOP is concerned about, including 999 since it hasn't gotten any mainstream endorsement. The WaPo cartoon named 3 republicans, the other two being white, as well as Cain. Ulli K. Ryder is also black. I just don't have the time to check the other few. I consider this to be partisan static and hardly liberals being racist against Cain. On the side of liberal blacks? It's personal.

... But the old-fellows say we must read to gain knowledge; and gain knowledge to make us happy and be admired. Mere jargon! Is there any such thing as happiness in this world? No: And as for admiration I am sure the man who powders most, parfumes most, embroiders most, and talks most nonsense, is most admired.

^ Yet, if Cain were a Libberal.....well, let's just suggest things would be much more clearly "Polarized".....
