    Verizon dropping Muslim lifestyles station

Bridges TV was founded in 2004 by Muzzammil Hassan and his wife, Aasiya, as a platform to dispel negative stereotypes about Muslims. It managed to stay on the air after Hassan was convicted last year of beheading his wife in 2009.

Left was all wound up yesterday over this "made from whole cloth" incident. The Hill even f*cks up the "correction". It's gonna get much worse with the MSM trying to push bamma across the finish line again.

Federal regulators plan to announce this week that automakers will be required to put rearview cameras in all passenger vehicles by 2014 to help drivers see what is behind them. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which proposed the mandate in late 2010, is expected to send a final version of the rule to Congress on Wednesday.

Being so done with new cars, I shouldn't care.

Got my eyes on this '62 Pontiac Grand Prix that's for sale nearby, no rear view camera, though... wonder how it would handle in the snow...

Mandatory rear view cameras? Really? All this kind of crap does is just raise the price of new cars even more, while putting more money into the pockets of the Chinese, who will of course be the ones making all of these cameras for your brand new "American" car.

Its been one of my favorite custom cars for years. It was done in 2002 as a semi-clone of one of Gene Winfield's first cars... this one... done in 1962...

Later, in 1963, he painted like this:

The newer one was mostly done by John Aiello at Lucky 7 Customs and painted by Art Himsl. They first showed it at the 2003 Grand National Roadster Show. The difference is they chopped the top a few inches.

I just love it. Its for sale in Antioch.

Condolences to his family. I had no love for the man or his ideals, but jeez....43 years old?

Here is the reason for Obama's change in policy..

A convoy of white vans carrying the sign of U.S. Embassy had arrived at Cairo airport carrying the seven Americans, who include the son of U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.

Is Rush Limbaugh like -- trying to get himself fired?

Agree or disagree with the student... but I think we can all safely classify Rush's statements as belonging here.

"Can you imagine if you're her parents how proud of Sandra Fluke you would be? Your daughter goes up to a congressional hearing conducted by the Botox-filled Nancy Pelosi and testifies she's having so much sex she can't afford her own birth control pills and she agrees that Obama should provide them, or the Pope."
I only hear about what Rush says when other news agencies report it, but I can't imagine he's said anything this good before. Having that person testify that it costs money and she would really like other people to pay for it is probably worse then when a comedian came and told congress how hard he found manual labour.
