Does a chip on the core coz problems??

Hi

my core has two very minute chips, altho it still boots and works fine

SO will i run into a prob ??

impossible to say, one of my cores has a tone of chips all around edges and works great, the other has one tiny on on the VERY edge and wont post....damn...totally depends!!

i also had a chipped cpu which ran fine at 220x11...zero problems but nirvweezer's right.

my old XP1600+ (paly) had a chip. the CPU has never gave me any problem and it is still working fine on a friends' computer.
