always thought sitting in cmos was pure idling..
but after some benchmarking and a reboot, I sat it in the monitoring section and watched my cpu temp climb from 19C to 24C in a couple minutes time.. made me wonder..

it's because the machine is being turned on. electricity is still running through it and everything. just b/c windows isn't loaded doesn't mean that it's not on. you can stare at your bios temps all you like. they will climb higher obviously until you reach your idle temperature and believe me, it is not anywhere near 19C or 24C
uh... guy... read again plz..
"after some benchmarking and a reboot"..
this isn't a fresh boot I'm talking about here.. it's a warm reboot right after being @ load running 3dmark..
and it IS around 19-24C..@210x11.5 &2v no less ,because I'm running water that's roughly @ freezing...24C is actually pretty warm idling for me lately..

......when in the bios you will be putting your cpu to max load. Its always load temp in the bios........
if u go into bios and sit there...whether u restarted after a bench or not...the bios will put 50% load on ur system...benchmarking (with the right programs) puts 100%
