Unhappy No Boot to Bios or Post

    Can any body help?

I turned on my computer today and the monitor didn't turn on, plugged in backup and comes up with NO VIDEO IMPUT. This is after everything was fine last night. System is 2600+ using a Chaintech 7njs M/B with no overclocking etc.. I can't figure why this has happened as as I built the system about 8mths ago and everything worked when first power-up. Thought M/B dodgy put all fans are going and power light on Vid card working. What can I do to at least get a bios screen. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Reset CMOS.

Got a spare video card you can test the system with?

    Do you get any beeps?

What PSU do you have? It's somewhat suspect. CPU is possible, but unlikely I think. Try another video card, although they typically give beeps if something's wrong.

I have finally got computer up and running. After much tinkering and reading other people's problems I pulled power from everything exept HDD,CD drive & M/B, low and behold I got monitor power and a bios screen. Reset bios restarted and then no power again. Pulled CD power got screen and start-up. PSU is iCute ATX-320W/P4 do you think this is root of problems and what should I replace it with ?

    Appreciate your help.

While I dont have good feelings about your current psu, and yes I would replace, you also have to consider the bios of the chaintech to be suspect as well.

Try replacing psu, if there is still a prob, have a look in the chaintech forums.
