But still don't get higher fsb's than 223x10...

Elco, the NF2's dont like non- 1-1 cpu/mem timing, no wonder you cant go higher.
Get some HyperX3500 and you'll find 230-240-250 easy enuff.. $120 for 512Meg.
TicTac... help me please, I dont understand the menaing of "ABCD", etc.
Can you list what the actual items unhidden are...by name, maybe include the ranges/options under them?
Im going to try out D10beta4 from you.
I really cant see doing any of this without a BiosSavior... it's only $25, certainly just your time is already worth that, not to mention the investment in your MBoard.
eloco,
I don't know 100% if I'm right bout this but I think even at 4/3 ratio with your FSB at 223 your ram is running at approx 167MHz (DDR333 / PC2700) so it is already well overclocked.. and with tight timings as well!
Maybe you need more VDimm or looser timings to get a higher FSB bro...
Also, I've heard people say that they can achieve higher FSB when at 1/1, 3/3, 6/6 etc so maybe it just time to fork out for a stick of faster ram... nothing like an excuse to upgrade right
If I'm talkin #$%* just, sorry! LOL

Whats the best beta bios besides d10, d10 has to many errors and doesnt like my Western Digital hard drives for some reason. Whats the second best? Im currently running d22 beta 4 but dont know if its the best. Also Im not running 10x multis so I dont have to worry bout that kinda stuff.
Well i'm wainting for a pair of twinmos pc3200 that oc prety well. Maybe thursday i've some news.

is the temperature a lil high in d22?
D10 has the highest temps, d14 has the lowest temps, I believe that 16-22 have the closet to actual temps.

hey.... check it out Beta 4 is on server right now:
d10,d14,d14betaq,d16,d17,d18,d19,d20,d21,d22
now this thime i dont unhidden anything n i dont put any turbo or chamge bios layout with ModBin
i just put dat commandline thing... so taste the difference
tictac,
by "that commandline thing" do you mean that ABCD+F...etc that you explained before? Like the chipset timings?
By the way... thanks for taking the time to help everyone, your work here is appreciated DUDE!!

What does this "ABCD" thing mean, and can you list the features that are "unhidden" in the D10beta4 you had put up before?
Also.... though higher temps from running faster are evident, the algorithm for temp calculation is simply incorrect... the temp is the same in all the bios's with the same settings...including D10 once you use WCPREDIT to add "CPU DISCONNECT" function to D10.

emmm... so guys u rainning me with question... i think i'm out off word already...![]()
how do i make this beta bios up?
i compare 3 difference board base on nforce 2 chip
Abit NF7-S Rev 2.0, DFI Infinity n Epox 8RDA+
i found dat they hav 1 file with same code
which is ABC on 2 of this board
D10 hav this code AB
but abit(D11-D22) hav this code ABCD
DFI n Epox hav this ABCF
so i assume the F n D thing is added by the manufacture
n then i manipulate dat last code base on ABC as basic ... i make it with:
ABC+F = beta 2
AB+CD = beta 1 ( only D10 as this bios only hab AB code)
ABC+D+F = beta 4
i found out dat latest bios can work well on AB code as it give different timing than wat we set on bios..
base on report by spaceboyz my beta tester dude
he set 2-2-2-11 at bios n he get 2.5-3-3-8 on windows....(D21beta1)
dat mean the file i'm messing up is file dat controlling dat timing things...
wat this file doing in there???? who knows.... but for sure it control dat timing things
any more question? NO
if u want to use get it, if doubt this bios live it there
i think this is the reason why bios programmer dont hang out on forum... they ran out off words![]()
Thx for explaining this, I think I'll stick to d14, works great for me
