Was just reading the fine print looking for any issues just as you probably did. Knew there had to be some... Would have been nice though.

Per the FAQ on the website:
"This software is recognized as a backup software"

"Note, that you will not be able to register the software with the manufacturer and get their support, but we will do our best to support you any way possible. This includes providing different updates and service packs. "

"The software is shipped from Eastern Europe. "

yea i just read that part after i posted. The site is confusing because the earlier FAQ questions say its full retail version, non academic etc..

Then below you see where it sounds as if your getting a copy of it with a pirated key. Then they will try to crack the service packs so you can use it. In my translation that is :P

ROFL If I knew you could make money selling pirated software I would be rich. I am surprized that they just don't stipstream in the SP1 and be done with it. Pretty much what it is doing is making the ppl that are too stupid to download it off overnet pay for pirated software. I love it hehe sign me up.

These guys are operating a scam under various names. I personally captured the url and turned it in to Microsoft/piracy division. It's definitely junk.BD51

I don't think that micro shaft can do anything about it. Since in most of eastern europe there are no copyright or patent laws. Well we could sent the troops over because acording to Bush and his lackies software piracy is terrorist activity.

actually there are laws ..they all want to EU, and first thing EU wants from them is to obey copyrights.

  13. #13
well if they are not part of the EU yet how can they enforce the laws of the eu? It is like saying that i have to abide by the laws of mexico while I am in the US.

Actually, Nigeria is notorious for scams. There was a man that called my company to order some books for a client of his. The books are straight out of our pockets so we checked to make sure the charge went through on the credit card # he gave us and it did. Then he asked us to buy him a couple of cell phones with that number and we thought for a moment and said, "No." It turned out that there are "practically" legit companies in Nigeria that purchase products from overseas using stoken credit card #'s and then retail the products that they get over the web and in South Africa.
