Need help with "BIOS ROM CHECKSUM ERROR"

    Hei,

Changed RAM on my Abit NF7-S V2.0, and on first boot got this "BIOS CHECKSUM ERROR" and I am asked to insert system disk. When I do that AWARDFLASH is being loaded and I got message "NO SOURCE FILE FOUND". How to fix that.

    Thanks.

I agree with wall of tvs, try clearing your CMOS.

I had that message pop up once after updating the bios. After I did a reboot, it didn't show up.

    Hi,

Forsott to say that I did clear CMOS a 100 times. No go. AWDFLASH programme is being succesifully loaded, but there seem to be a problem with BIOS image file name. Got message "No source file found" and have no possibility writing it in. If I could somehow opptain modified AWDFLASH where it is programmed to automatically load BIOS image with a certain name f.eks. abit.bin, than it may help.

What's the bin file's name? Are you doing a modded bios or just number 22?
