I blew my card

I got a bugdet evga nividia card without fan only a cheap heatsink. I read one article about the poor cooling in these card so I bought a blue TL Orb and artic silver from coolguys in Jersey. First thing was take off the heatsink from the chip,so I cut the plastic holder (i mark a little scracht on one memory chip, I guess that is the problem) with the pliers when I was pulling out the pins. Fist I was socked to see the poor nasty glue tape used for transfer the heat. I clean it up and sand it with a 400grit sandpaper. After that i spread artic silver with the epoxy from the coolguys and sat the blue orb on the chip, but before i change the fan from the Crome orbe used for processors same size but more beef, than the original Orb blue. I cut the heatsink I just pulled from the chip and add'm on top of memory modules with artic silver, without spreading on the green stuff of the card. So I boot the compu and dark screen, but the Duron and mobo was working..... I need critics

The obvious is did you blow all the crap out and off the card before you mounted the Orb and did you try removing and putting the card back???????

I've had an AGP Video Card that was particular in how it was inserted in the AGP slot.

I did it but no from the aircan, I will check it out today pulling out the card. thanks

last week when after doing some mods, did not clean off mb with metal shavings good enough, and it shorted a bit..somewhere. fortunately gave it a good clean and it was fine..
