Even includes some basic password precautions...
Monster states in their release that you will be required to change your password on the site soon. So I'd recommend that you go ahead and do that proactively. Don't use a password that you'd use anywhere else. (For those of you that use the same password on Monster.com and yourbankhere.com. You know who you are!)

    Apple iWork 2009 Trojan

Apple Macs don't get malware, right? Wrong:

Why you should download illegal software on P2P (besides the fact it's illegal). It's far cheaper in the long run to buy the software for $99 than to have your accounts and credit cards stripped and then have to pay $200 to have a tech come clean your PC.

Thanks (from here too); passed it on to my Brothers-in-Law; at least one of them has Mac (for many years), but is only a user (no O.S. knowledge), but the other can help out (Programmer, Unix pro and Linux user. Knows Mac too because his wife uses it; webdesign).

    Bad guys think creatively too

    http://isc.sans.org/diary.html?storyid=5797

Besides the kickbacks for the infections, who wants to bet (s)he also runs a local PC repair service and just picked up a load of cleanup work to boot

You can't trust anybody these days.

That is pretty tricky,,,and not what one would expect to be happening in the middle of America- North Dakota, what a scam.

    Firefox 3.0.6 is released

    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox.../releasenotes/

Also, don't forget that Firefox 2.x is no longer supported (as of Dec 2008) so get those old installs updated.
