Sorry about your trouble. In the future, I'd keep away from the Anand and [H]ard forums. Lots of trolls and other turds lurking there. I'm mean, you can get trolled anywhere but I only trade here, at Ars, 2CPU and occasionally at Overclockers. Only had one slow shipper at Ars, and a defective mobo from a trader at Overclockers but the guy did pay for an RMA.

That's a good idea; I'd report him to M$. Teach that ass to ever try and screw you or anybody else again. Even if no charges are pressed they may at least give him a little scare.

Turning it over to Microsoft should be enough of a threat. The head company I work for knows all too well that they are not one to be rubbed wrong, as Microsoft has nearly pounded us into the ground, and most likely will succeed in doing so because they did not agree with our business practices. While at this point in time I could care less about someone pirating their software, YOU got screwed and deserve what you paid for, a legit working copy that you don't have to screw with to get it to work.
