Enemy Territory and XP 64 beta

I have read here and know that there are opengl problems with the microsoft drivers for ati. So, my question is has anyone found a workaround for the ati driver problem and getting games like enemy territory to work? Thanks in advance.

I would say there are 0 problems with openGL in Windows 64 beta for the ATi card.

There is NO openGL. LOL. Windows does not provide openGL.

    DirectX only.

I guess I should rephrase that. It appears that et uses opengl and that is usually provided by the video card drivers if I am not mistaken. I could be wrong. I get an error message from et starting having to to do with no opengl found. If anyone knows of an answer it would be great. I suppose I should wait to use xp 64 until ati releases drivers but I could'nt resist giving it a whack.

ATi is providing Win64 drivers when the retail version of Win64 ships. Period end of story. There will be NO public beta. Straight from the mouth of the Cat Maker.

The only ATi 64 bit drivers availabe are the ones given to the beta team members. Only 100 of them, and I hear its favorable to live in Greece to be picked to be on the beta team. LOL.

Not good for the rest of us! Oh well this opteron does great already anyways. Thanks for the info. It kinda looked like that was the case but its good to hear it straight out. I really wanna see how games can do on this rig in 64 bit.
