Smack? I'm not really enjoying my program, and besides, I already have one permission slip that lets me play engineer... why do I need another, right?

I had a bit of a crazy idea too... you may not be able to catch SameOldFatMan alone, but I bet you could if someone were to crunch on your behalf for a while eh? That'd bump your total by, what, 44-45 WUs a day? That should give him, oh, say 2 months to enjoy his spot in the sun? [Where's an evil smiley when you need one?]
YES SMACK!!! - I'm a firm believer in education - can never have enough and should never drop out.

    Here you go:

Now if I only had the ROOM to build a few crunchers. Ill have to see if I can leave stuff out in the room over in Japan, but if its like my mos school, everything is going to need to be locked up. So ill probly nock my 2 towers into rackmount and build a couple more rackmount to sit on a shelf in my locker/desk thing. But we shall see. I could so do a few cruchers for $300 a pop though.

The constant top 50 battle... well I don't have nearly enough horsepower to get up there. Meanwhile.. I'm sitting on rank #700 / 943, I'll let a few people catch up to me, then I'll release a small cache of files I'll have built up and rush past them again - the idea never occured to me but I picked it up from you guys Oh no, what have I become? A frog maybe??
Hmm raising my RAM from 110 to 146Mhz seems to have done something for WU times (I think), I get an extra 400 in 3dmark2001 I guess I'll have to run the SETI benchmark again to make sure - I'll do that after Easter.

How far ahead can I get by the time he dumps his next 1300 If I could maintain some computers at work crunching I could probably edge past him....but as things are...we are pretty close. It's a good race!

I think if he dumps tomorrow it'll be a little smaller than that....I think he sometimes alternates big dumps and smaller...depends how long he waits in between.

Hey...if there's another big dump tomorrow...all the better for ThePond.

I should be able to pass Bullfrog tomorrow morning and take 8th...unless MJD intervenes.

my goal is the top 100 but dont know if that will happen by the time seti leaves us for boinc....thats if it does LOL

of course i will be adding 3 more systems soon though.

1 thats just waiting for a cpu (thanks yet again Nobody1) 1 thats an extra from that, and an athlon 700mhz i'll be using soon as well.

im also considering giving my lil sis my ecs board then buying another abit nf7 for oc'ing so i can get more out of my cpu's

then sell my other ecs board and do the same thing! that Xp 2000 can hit much higher then 1.8ghz im sure

...though if i go to radio shack i could get the resistor i need to volt mod it! maybe i need to just unlock the cpu

I can just picture them (like in a cartoon) at each other's throats. The battle sure is fun to watch (as are all the battles here). Meanwhile I'm slowly making my way up the ranks, my CPU crunching 20+ hrs a day. - Can't wait until Christmas (Athlon 64 coming...) Who knows, by then maybe we'll all be crunching BOINC.
