Can not get my lap top to print on wireless network

Have been thru Add Printer wizard so many times my head is spinning.
Printer shows up as Ready on Lappy. Won't print.
A step by step would really be helpfull.
I'm missing something here.
Selecting wrong port maybe? (On laptop)

Is the printer hooked up using IP or is it shared through another computer?

If it is shared through another computer you will need to share out the printer and just give everyone permission unless you have specific usernames. Then what you need to do is go to your laptop and just do start - run - \\computername\printersharename (enter this on the print server) and then it will ask you are you sure you want to connect. Select yes and your computer should install the necessary print drivers.

If you have the printer connected IP (meaning it has its own NIC or jet direct) then on the laptop you will want to add local printer and then at the bottom of the screen will be a radio button for new connection. On the drop down select TCP/IP port and then follow the wizard for entering in the IP information.

The printer is hooked up to my rig.
It shows up as ready in Printers and Faxes(On wife's lap top) but won't print anything I send to it.
Printer sharing is enabled on printer and enabled on wireless base station.
