Good morning everyone. Phew! 10am in the morning and read over 6 pages of posts!

GAK! It's going to be 43C today in Toronto with the humidex. Whoever says that Canada is cold, please let me know so I can move there! It's going to be frickin' hot!!!!

Crag! Welcome back man! Drop by the MW thread and update us.

I'm going to pick up my replacement HDD today... 80GB Maxtor. It should do me fine for another 2 years (hahahah! Yeah right!).

I don't think I need a coffee... maybe a Bagel and creme cheese will hit the spot?

    Hehehe.

Everything is going alright! No complaints here. Spent a lot of the weekend playing MW. On Saturday there was a large family dinner to celebrate our marriage we had almost 2 months ago. Got a few presents (most of it was money). We did get a nice pots+pans set... Lagostina. nice stainless steel stuff.

Also used the blender (also a wedding gift) we had gotten previously and made some smoothies yesterday. Here's what I used which was totally ace! (Coolme, I'm starting to steal your words! ).

    - 2/3 cup of orange juice
    - 1 cup frozen yoghurt (vanilla or something fruity)
    - 1 medium banana
    - 1 cup of berries/fruit (you can use frozen berries like we did)

Step 1: cut the banana into quarters.
Step 2: Add the ingredients to the blender in the order mentioned above.
    Step 3: Blend until smooth.
    Step 4: Enjoy!

I'm going to enjoy using the blender! I can see myself making lots of different shakes and drinks with it!

What were you up to this weekend... let me guess? MW? LOL

hehehe... I'm just testing to see of those bots work. We can mention that other game, just not talk about it...

Car problems or just preventative maintenance?

Yeah problems, the water feed going into the heater matrix burst somewhere so I bypassed the heating all together and now have a summer car lol.

Morning all. Jerky - you need to be careful buddy. One more mention of that game & you'll loose your head. I turned down the sensitivity on the bots by giving them an internal counter. More than 3 mentions & BAMMM!! Head gone

Gotta love those smoothies eh Jerky? One of our favorites too - make 'em with our wedding present

Coolme, while you were stuck under your car I just took mine to the local garage - much easier. 30k mile service. A tad expensive, but worth it - did a nice job on the tune up. Running very nicely this morning.

Personally spent the weekend in the front garden as usual. Got the last of the brick pavers cut & layed over Sat & Sun. Not much left to do - 2-3 weekends work left b4 we can start planting. YEY!!! Mrs j1mb0b will be so happy. And of course that makes me happy

Jim: Yeah those smoothies are wicked. I didn't expect them to be that tastey! Damn nice on a hot day like this. Mrs. Jerky's on Night Shift this week, so I should be able to fit some UT time.

Oh great, Bots with intelligence... I'll be careful with what I say from now on.

Nothing wrong with our car yet... still running like a brand new vehicle. I think we're going to take it in for its 2nd oil change soon.

Stuck in the garden eh? My garden consists of a single Spider plant next to the window. That damn thing won't die no matter what I do to it! LMAO!

Ok time for some work... I'll drop by later.

    morning everyone
those smoothies are good. try putting some walnuts in there, and frozen blueberries that you got fresh if possible. luckily, around here there's some blueberry patches, last year we gleaned for $3/ gallon, and froze LOTS of em there's hardly any this year, the city an hour away found it and picked it clean

There were fresh blueberries + strawberries available, but since this was going into a smoothie, we didn't think it was that critical to have really fresh stuff. We bought frozen since it was cheaper and you got more. But after 3 smoothies, we're almost done all the fruits.

Walnuts? Are you sure? That seems a little weird to me. I have walnuts but never thought of putting that into a drink.

$3/gallon sounds pretty cheap. My family used to go peach and apple picking... but now we just buy from the local store.

jimbob, there's an old chinese proverb... "He who has two heads should not threaten those with one."

Also, jb, check your yahoo e-mail.

Jerky, I didn't know you were a newly wed! Belated Congrats on your recent marriage.

I can't believe I made it through a whole post with once mentioning the M word!
