Win2000 SP2 to be found?

Hi everyone.

So this is my third thread for the first day on the board.

I have read on several posts about Service Pack 2 for Windows 2000, but have failed to find it so far.

Could anyone please post the URL for the download?

That is not an official release.. it is the latest beta

SP2 was released months ago, and was mysteriously pulled for good reason. I installed it and now I get paging file errors. No matter what I set the file size at, it continues to default to 20MB upon reboot. This happens because I intalled SP2. It was pulled for a reason.

I think that release above was well after the original Microsuck release dieu. I have had no problems at all.. a few others report the same.

Ok, thanks for the feedback.

In my crusade against the BSOD, I am now going to attempt bios 1005X/FXD and SP2 beta (now that sounds like the abstract of a film).

My attempts are already heading to unofficial sources, let´s see what´s after this.

There's a work around for that paging file error that you are experiencing. I too had that problem (without installing SP2). I followed these knowledge base articles and it fixed it. The only thing is that you need to make sure you are logged in as administrator when you make the changes.
