Just got a used 9700pro for $123 and I'll buy an x800 for the same price down the line.

New vid cards always excite me because you can always count on someone to sell cheap to get an overpriced upgrade.

9800 non pro 256mb, flashed to pro bios. Volt modded and watercooled. 1.8vgpu 430/750. I paid £187 about 6 months ago. Hopefully would like to keep it for another 6 months at least, the only time I'll change it is when the amd 939 with pci express is established and then I'll change most of my system, god dam thats going to be expensive :S

Re: How old is your ATI card and what card is it....

My BBA 9800pro 128mb has only been in my main rig for 2 wks. Got it for $200. Before that I had a BBA 9500pro 128mb for about a year also gotten for around $200. That 9500pro has migrated to my daughters pc.

If the pattern continues I'll get an 800xx for around that budget next year....

still beats my first video card ever....an ATI Mach 64 with an incredible 4mb of V-Ram!!! How much was that worth back in 1995?!
