    Re: Abit NF7 Modded Bios's

There is no such thing as a 'final' modded bios or one that works best for all systems. You have to test it yourself. S-ATA bios 4227 has less compatability problems, 4247 should have a lill higher benchmark scores.
My board overclocks best with d1.0 and d1.4BPL.
Others do better with d2.4. And even under the boards who like d2.4 there is a difference between for instance SubZero or 3D and i;m sure also what BPL version they like best.
Trial And Error is what it's all about!

    renuac,
Abducted is right on the money... but if you're not as addicted as him and I are yet and you want to save yourself some time you may want to just go with something that is widely accepted to be "good".
If you have SATA go with D22 Alpha 1, if not, go with a D10 variant.

    Re: Abit NF7 Modded Bios's

Can all these be flashed using Abit's flashmenu?

I see .SFV file in some of the zip folders, what are they? And will flashmenu flash OK for them?

Thanks for all the modding guys - awesome.

Yup they can be flashed using FlashMenu. the .sfv file can be used to make sure the file you downloaded isn't corrupted. Download QuickSFV (for instance) to check the file just to be sure.

If you're trying to flash back to d1.0 from DOS you need a special command line to force the flash. It's easier to just use FlashMenu from ABIT to flash back to d1.0 from windows. Make sure you don't have the system overclocked while flashing the bios.
