    Yes

Go to the official abit site and download the latest bios for your motherboard. Make a bootable floppy in windows and then copy the contents of the abit bios onto the floppy and reboot and boot from the floppy. At he A:\ prompt type runme.bat

    thats it

Sam I presume the same process can be done with a CD instead of a floppy for those who no longer run floppy's (i.e. myself).

I'm really pissed at myself for loosing/misplacing numerious bios mods from Tictac and Merlin, now all the links are dead and I cannot find the bios files now that I have decided to finally set up a Sata RAID array on this mobo. I dont even know if SATA will work nevermind RAID with the bios version I am currently running
    NF7-S v2 - TicTac's d26-mantarays-xt-cpc - XP SP2 (Copper Coolers on N+S Bridges + Sinks on MosFets)
    AMD2600 Barton M - 227x11 @ 1.75v
    2 x 512 DDR400 XL PRO (2.2.2.10) @ 2.7v
    2 x IDE Maxtor Plus9 8Mb
    Hercules 9800 Pro - Arctic Cooling v2 HSF (425Core/380Mem)
    X-Connect Modular 500W PSU
T/right 947U + T/take Variable Fan with Qtec Fan Controller
    Lian Li PC60 - Modded

    Re: Abit NF7 Modded Bios's

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I was playing around with my Abit NF7-S v1.2 in my old rig and wondered if any of the bios on this page is for v1.2, or will they only work with v2.0

Anyone have tictac or abducted's contact info?

maxmodder no those are most likely for 2.0 boards. as far as i know tictac use to have a web forum back in 2005 - 2006 and probably has moved on to different things by now

here's a link at nforcershq with some 1.0 ones or that's what the thread says but use it at your own risk.

This is all I was able to find on my webby from back in the day (i believe this is all NF7 based):
    droidbasement.com/d24-trats
    droidbasement.com/d26-tictac
    droidbasement.com/d26-trats
    droidbasement.com/merlin

I have no way to test anything there currently, so use at your own risk (i.e. have a way to recover).
