this is a known problem with windows 2000
there is a simple registry fix for it, it can effect all games but it's particularly noticeable in Half-Life, that's why you noticed it in CS, you sold a perfectly good chip and wasted a bunch of time for nothing, and if you had spent any time looking at CS forums, or the AMD page, or the MS page you would have found it in 10minutes and been fixed in one reboot, good job moron
