    Re: FF Member connection speeds.

My upload seems to vary from 650 to 950 kbps, usually around 800. Here is a high one I just tested:

    *bump*

Updated the first post. Some of us have some really kickin' connections! This is good info for when we start hosting our tourney games and setting up practice servers.

Maybe we should have a few games in Scotland just to humour Matt.

Sure - he certainly humors us enough

I got my static IP today - well I will once I get home and recycle the cable modem. This should allow me to host games and hopefully will solve my VPN problem as well.

Of course one of these nights I will need to some willing testers to help 'stress test' the connection

My connection has been smoking lately. Haven't seen anything less than 900 kbps upload for over a week in the evenings

    Re: FF Member connection speeds.

Bump - anyone else want to post their speeds?

I think my cable company has either raised their download cap or is experimenting with the idea because suddenly this weekend I'm seeing 2700+ downloads compared to 2300 just a few days ago. I guess time will tell if it's permanent. Download continues to be fairly consistent above 900 kbps.

Speed test taken just a few minutes ago:

Jerky, you've just been bumped off the Top 5 list

AMD, I think Verizon caps at 1500 down / 128 up so you are right on the mark.
