Nah, then the usergroups would just link like senseless bling bling that people would try and acquire.

I could see a person with 9-10 of those under their name, after we get more groups.

Right about now. Go back to the group membership option in the UserCP and the option should be there.

I must check for new requests every day or two as there isn't any automated notification system.
