wth! why are your guys' overclock so good? with such low voltages? i can't get it to boot if i turn the voltage down to 1.6XX. Can't get it to boot at like 2.4-2.5 ghz.

ohhh well, just got a mobile 2400+ 35w and testing it right now. running 1.37v with 1.8ghz. stock. gonna let it burn a little then overclock! will give you guys the results once im done building this new computer. =)

    EDIT:

    OMG!!! mobile 2400+ 35w rocks! 2.5ghz 12.5x200 1.725v 46c LOAD! i think i can take this to 2.6-2.7ghz!

i think this is the stepping code, didn't take much time to read/write it down.

    I would try 12 X 200 @ 1.625.....set your timings to 2.5-3-3-11 on the ram. Worth a shot.

Edit: Or if it's prime stable at 12.5 X 205...bump your vcore down til it isn't....1.775 seems high .
it wouldn't run when i lower the voltage... i think i got a bad core.

I got the same exact stepping 35w 2400+ from Newegg on Tuesday running 218x11.5 - 2507mhz at 1.825v

I'll play with it more and I'm sure I can lower the voltage...

BTW I booted fine at 2.6ghz at 1.93v

    Re: xp-m 2600+ 0351 mpmw bad overclock

here's an update on my mobile 2400+ 35w:

    2.61ghz - 208x12.5 - 1.9v undervolt at 1.87v - 53c load - priming...

so far so good, but i think the voltage is a little high. but it's hella better than my mobile 2600+ =).

    edit:

not prime stable but haven't had a problem.

What you have is crappy memory,.and possibly board. I have the same stepping and have been running it for 2 months. settled on 2650 at 1.74 vcore. Stable as hell,.but I have a good board and ram.

    Re: xp-m 2600+ 0351 mpmw bad overclock

you could be right about the ram but not about the board. this board isn't crappy haha. but the memory is. it's value ram so yeah. but the possibility of me having a bad core is pretty up there as well. i guess i wasn't one of the lucky people.i could possibly have a bad powersupply as well. the voltage flux a lot.

2.6ghz with the mobile 2400+ 35w cause some trouble. right now im trying to burn in at 2.5ghz 200x12.5 1.775v undervolt at 1.750v.

    edit:

so far this has been very stable:

    edit2:

my computer randomly restarts with that overclock. anyone know what is going on? memory is at default speed. dont know what is causing the random reboots.

    edit3:

lowered the memory voltage and everything seems to be running smooth... let's just hope it stays this way.

Most probable cause of Random reboots is a weak power supply,.or one too small for your machine. AMD's are power hungry compared to Intel. Can't rule out Memory either,..run memtest on it,..see if you get any errors. I don't run anything below a 500w on any of my AMD Machines. Good Luck.

umm dont you people know that all chips clock differently?in the game of overclocking theres alot of luck involved in getting good components.
