    MSI K7N2 Delta2 Platinum thread

So... board now listed in Japan:

    http://www.users-side.co.jp/shopping...?show=msi_5ath

Strange thing is it says the board has Promise RAID. Didn't think there was any room for that, from the CEBIT pictures of the board.

    According to this document: http://cweb.msi.com.tw/program/suppo..._mbY040224.xls

the board will be available in -LSR and -FISR versions. The -FISR is probably the Platinum.

btw, did anyone see any REAL pictures of the board from Computex 2004?

UPDATE: newegg has it in stock!

Sorry, cannot answer your questions... but I did notice the KT880 Delta-FSR on the same page. It is priced 12,999 Yen, same price as a K7N2 Delta-ILSR. I thought the KT880 would come in at a price point lower than the NForce2 boards.

    The Soltek KT880 is a $70 board.

    Interesting.....

My guess is the KT880 is going to be farely expensive at first because of the R&D that went into it. Not only that but MSI is late getting it out into the market. They are going to have to make up for some lost sales.

That suprises me because MSI is usually the first manufacturer to get a board out.

I am patiently waiting for this mobo. Not sure if I should get mobile XP and this next Xmas, or A64 and NForce3.

I really like the K7N2 Delta 2 Platinum

    Re: MSI K7N2 Delta2 Platinum

Jeesh I hope you can. I'll have to look. Audigy 2 ZS and Onboard sound running at same time is probably not good thing.

Dosen't seem to be a lot of difference between those mobo's except color. I like MSI red but those black ones look AWESOME Think I'll be getting one of those next

Page 3-14 in the manual says that you can either set it to Auto or Disabled. I had to look a couple of times to see it.

    Just got this from MSI:

    "Hello Evandro,

Both of these boards (K7N2 Delta2 and KT880 Delta) will be available in the US this month. I apologize if
the previous information was incorrect. Sometimes the product managers
bring things in at the last minute.

    Thank you,
