Hi guys!

Been along time since i've posted here, apologies for disappearing like that, and i think i owe dna and the rest of you something before disappearing like this...

As you noticed, the website being taken down. Development on the Anomaly mod for ut2004 has been shelved, due to our poor results in the Competition. As you know, Anomaly has not won anything even after the implementation of bots and single player(which i know sucks, but considering the bots racing abilities, i think zerobit has done an extremely good job on getting the bots to race properly in this mod.). Anomaly was a mod started for the competition and with this kind of disappointment, our team has decided to stop work on it.

Interest in this mod is also quite low, only a scattering of gamers really know, tried it and really appreciate this mod.

Anyway, Anomaly, i believe, has a great potential which wasn't fully realised in this mod, considering the time and manpower constraints we have and i've alot more stuffs in mind for this as a game. (which i hope can be realised...someday...)

And lastly, and most importantly for this post, THANKS to DNA and the FRAGGING FROGS for your help, suggestions and support during the development of Anomaly mod, and it was really fun playing online with you guys Also thanks to Lenny for hosting the server during the play tests for Anomaly

B-f, sorry to hear it's being shelved. You guys did a lot of work and it must be tough to not see any recognition like you hoped.

Hopefully you will still allow the frogs to play this game on occasion with withever "final" release you have and that you can join in the games!

Yes, i am sorry to hear of this too.. i only got to play it once or twice maybe, and didnt actually see the final product, but i saw that it had some good potential.. its a shame to see it go away

Yes, this is sad to hear - I think Anomaly has the makings of a kick ass mod - but as always it is alot of work to polish something that big, esp without any of the recognition that you deserve.

Thanks man, i myself would like to be able to see the Final product too! I would chose to do Anomaly again if theres the chance next time. Won't let it die just like that.

Thanks, still alot of bugs, refinement and improvements needed, but well, i enjoyed it myself too, esp when playing with friends who enjoyed playing Anomaly together, like the frogs

well, i'm not sure about it being kick ass ever, but we're definitely trying to give a new gaming experience to players of ut2004 for Anomaly Its really alot of hard work, well, we do really feel extremely let down by our performace in MSUC... but we did made quite a few good friends in the process
